If you're enabling Login Mode in FormWise to start monetizing your AI tools, good news: you can use your existing Stripe account — no need to create a new one.
This article will walk you through the process, clear up common questions, and help you get set up in minutes.
When you enable Login Mode and reach the Stripe setup screen, you’ll see a message:
"You can use an existing email connected to Stripe."
This means that as long as you enter the email address already associated with your Stripe account, FormWise will automatically link your workspace to Stripe.
Go to your Toolset dashboard in FormWise.
Click “Enable Login Mode.”
You’ll be prompted to Connect a Stripe Account.
When asked for your email, enter the one tied to your existing Stripe account.
Follow the prompts. If you’re already logged into Stripe, the connection may be instant. If not, Stripe will ask you to log in.
Once connected, you’ll return to FormWise with Login Mode activated — ready to set pricing and launch your monetized toolset.
A: Nope! Connecting FormWise just creates a new application in your existing Stripe account. It won’t interfere with your other setups.
A: If you accidentally created a second account or connected the wrong one, reach out to support. We can help reset the Stripe integration so you can reconnect the correct account.
A: At the moment, switching Stripe accounts is manual. Contact support and we’ll help reset the integration so you can connect a different account.
A: That’s totally fine! FormWise works alongside other platforms. You can manage payments, customers, and subscriptions from the same Stripe dashboard.
A: Nope! You’ll set all your pricing and plans directly inside FormWise under your Toolset settings. We handle the Stripe side automatically.
A: Stripe accepts both business and individual accounts. If you're just starting out, you can use your personal info — and upgrade to a business account later if needed.
If you're running multiple workspaces or white-labeling for clients, you can connect a different Stripe account for each workspace — just make sure you're logged into the correct Stripe account during setup.
